This brilliant community gathering is an electric vehicle car show and eco-exhibition rolled into one. As the UK’s first and largest all-electric vehicle rental company, EVision is absolutely thrilled to be a major part of this local initiative.

What Is the Go Green Day Kent Event All About?
Organised by Swanley Town Council, this Kent event is designed to celebrate and promote sustainable living within the community. It is all about creating a sustainable future for Swanley and the wider Kent area.
Running from 11 am until 4 pm, we’re allowing visitors to find out more about electric vehicles and all things sustainable. The park itself is a beloved local treasure, making it the perfect backdrop for a day focused on preserving our natural world. By bringing together businesses, local authorities, and wildlife groups, the council has created an accessible space where people can learn about the differences that going green can make to our daily lives.
From showcasing a range of electric vehicles to highlighting renewable energy solar products, the day will be packed with practical information. It is completely free to attend, making it an ideal summer holiday outing.
Who to Expect at Swanley Park This July
On Friday 31st July, Swanley Park will host a range of exhibitors showcasing local green initiatives and clean technology.
Swanley Town Council:
The Swanley Town Council team will be presenting its new electric vans, which can travel up to 200 urban miles on a single charge. They will be used for maintaining parks and green spaces across the area, supporting zero-emission public services.
Sunpower Services:
Sunpower Services is a Kent based company helping commercial sites cut carbon emissions through fully funded solar installations. The company has also recently installed solar panels on Swanley Park’s café and indoor soft play area, helping the site generate its own renewable energy.
Swanley Wildlife Nature Group
Individuals will be available to discuss local biodiversity and conservation work.
EVision Electric Vehicles

Which Electric Vehicles Will Be Available To View?
A key highlight of the Kent event is the chance to see two standout American electric pickup trucks up close: the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Rivian R1T.
Both EVs are rarely seen outside the United States, making this a unique opportunity for visitors. You’ll be able to get up close, sit behind the wheel, and explore the cabins of both vehicles in detail. While they aren’t available for test drives, their design and impressive presence make them well worth experiencing in person.
Alongside these two standout trucks, we’ll also be showcasing a selection of other electric vehicles. Check out a range of SUVs, hatchbacks, and potentially a few luxury models. The full line-up will be revealed on the day, so there may be a few surprises in store!
