Everything Electric South returns for another year, albeit later than previous events, and EVision will be there. For those of you who are not familiar with the Everything Electric events, or the Fully Charged Show, then read on. In this blog we will tell you what they are and how the event has evolved. EVision has been involved since the very beginning and we have seen the event’s global expansion. Read on for more!
Fully Charged and Ready to Go!
Most people involved with electric vehicles will be aware of the Fully Charged Show. For anyone that doesn’t, well you’ve been missing out. Arguably the world’s number one online show for electric vehicles, the fully charged show is the brainchild of Robert Llewelyn. If that name is familiar, then you probably recognise him as the robot, Kryton, from Red Dwarf.
The very first show was broadcast way back in 2010 and focused on the Tesla Roadster. To be fair, there weren’t many electric cars around at that time, so the options were limited. Since then, hundreds of amazing electric vehicles have featured, including a number of concept cars.
It isn’t only electric cars and other vehicles that the show focused on. Soon Robert and his growing team would expand to cover all aspects of green energy. Helen Czerski, a brilliant scientist, has presented episodes to discuss some of the science behind the technology. Everything was going mainstream.

Fully Charged Show Live
June 2018 saw a 2-day event come to Silverstone race track. It would be the start of something special, and it would be bigger than anyone anticipated. Building on the rapidly growing success of the web show, the Fully Charged team brought the joy of electric vehicles to the masses. They had no idea just how popular the event would prove to be.
Thousands of people streamed through the gates over the Saturday and Sunday, far exceeding expectations. From start to finish, EVision was swarmed with amazing people interested in our great vehicles. This was a surefire sign that the interest was there for even bigger future events.

The Show Expands
2019 saw the second Fully Charged Show Live event at the Silverstone race track, but with an extra day added. All records from the previous year were shattered as thousands more people attended. Interest was huge and was continuously growing.
The following year saw the event move to Farnborough. This allowed for an expanded event both inside and out. We also started seeing more and more green technology on display. Fully Charged was no longer overwhelmingly about cars. It was about everything electric.
It wasn’t just in the UK that the show was expanding, with a show in the North and another starting in London in 2024, there were also shows taking place in Europe, the US, Canada and Australia. Fully Charged was now fully global. However, a rebrand in 2023 meant that the live shows would now come under the banner of “EVerything Electric”.

Looking Forward to Everything Electric South 2024
Farnborough is once again the venue of the Everything Electric South show. EVision will be there and we cannot wait. EVision has taken a wide variety of our electric vehicles to the shows, including Teslas, BMW i3s, Renault Zoes, Vauxhall Vivaro-e, Kia e-Niro and many more. Last year we even had an episode of Fully Charged filmed inside one of our Rivian R1T pickup trucks.
This year will be no different. We will be there in force with some amazing vehicles that are guaranteed to wow the crowds as they always do. One vehicle in particular has yet to be seen by nearly anyone in the United Kingdom, and we know it is going to get the crowds going.
Our team also looks forward to seeing some of the latest and greatest vehicles being unveiled to the public. There is always something new and exciting on display from the major manufacturers. The green technology will also be a big draw, as the technology keeps advancing at lightning pace.

Concluding Words
The Everything Electric South event this year is certain to be another roaring success, building on a rich history that stemmed from a dream made real by Robert Llewelyn. Just a few years ago it was almost impossible to imagine just how far and quickly it has grown. Our team can’t wait to attend and see what is on display. We also can’t wait to see old friends and make many new ones.
Will you be attending the event? If so, what is it that you are most looking forward to seeing? Maybe it is something that is not to do with vehicles, but to do with green energy. Let us know on our social media channels.
