Electric cars that will have you looking forward to your daily commute

Electric Vehicles at EVision

Whether you’re commuting to work, or you’re working from home and need to make an essential trip to the supermarket, we have you covered! It’s currently a strange time for the whole country, abiding by guidelines and local lockdown restrictions, so why not mix it up even more and test out electric cars?

Most people haven’t experienced driving an electric vehicle before, so now’s the time to start. Everyone is being told to avoid public transport where possible and only travel if essential, so upgrade your everyday car and experience the power of an EV.

So let’s take a look at our top 5 electric picks….

The Peugeot e-208, a newcomer to the electric vehicle market, is fantastic if you haven’t already driven it’s conventional fuelled counterpart. If knowing it has won the 2020 European Car of the Year award, doesn’t make you take the plunge then we’re not sure what will. With an average range of 210 miles, drivers will make their London commute comfortably without even having to think about charging. The Peugeot e-208 is very similar in design to the standard Peugeot 208. A sporty and sleek design is on offer, ensuring that drivers enjoy every journey they make. Let’s just say you’ll be looking forward to commuting to work!

Another award winning car has made our list. The Kia e-Niro has also recently won the Whatcar? ‘Car of the Year 2020’ and ‘Best Electric Car’ from Carbuyer. If it’s electric cars you want, it’s an electric car you’re going to get when you hire the Kia for your commute.

With an average range of 250 miles, depending on the road conditions, and how it is driven, you’ll be able to get to most places of work without even needing to find a place to charge back up.

The best thing about the Kia is the spacious interior. You’ll be surprised at how much space you get, it’s fantastic for shopping. Now we’re not saying stockpile rolls of toilet paper just because you’ve got the space, but if you need to do a big shop, you’ll have no issues finding places to store it in the car.

The classic Tesla definitely had to make the list. We haven’t specified which model, as we will leave it up to you to decide. However, the Tesla Model S, X & 3 all have fantastic qualities that will 100% make your commute fun and exciting.

All of our Tesla models come as standard with HEPA filtration systems. The filtration systems are capable of stripping the outside air of pollen, bacteria, and pollution before they enter the cabin and systematically scrubbing the air inside the cabin to eliminate any trace of these particles.

Anyone commuting to London will definitely look the part turning up in any of our Teslas. If you really want to treat yourself, we would highly recommend the Tesla Model X with falcon style doors.

The Volkswagen ID.3 is one of the first electric vehicles manufactured by Volkswagen. Being relatively new to the market, the five-seat hatchback is being greatly welcomed by EV enthusiasts.

Feeling around for button controls will be a thing of the past when you drive the Volkswagen ID.3. The manufacturer wanted drivers to focus more on the road than trying to play with different features of the EV. With a voice control system installed, all that needs to be said is ‘Hello ID’ and the system will respond to every request you need to make.

Despite the Volkswagen ID.3 not being available from EVision as of yet, we felt that this particular electric car needed to be on our top picks list, just from trialling the car. If you want to look forward to your commutes to work or every day trips, then be sure to register your interest to be one of the first people to drive it.
