How Does The Vauxhall Corsa-e Compare To Its ICE Car Counterpart?

The drive is very controlled compared to the Vauxhall Corsa ICE car counterpart. For a start the Corsa-e does have a different suspension set up compared to the standard Corsa. 

The steering is also different because the 50kw lithium ion battery is packing a lot of weight, 355kg to be precise. This is a considerable amount of weight so to counteract this, Vauxhall have changed the suspension. This gives a firmer and more controlled driving experience compared to the standard Corsa. 

Other subtle differences between the Vauxhall Corsa-e and the petrol or diesel versions includes a different track at the front and the rear. The track on the Corsa-e is wider than that of the petrol or diesel versions, meaning the wheels are further apart. The wheelbase, this being the distance between the front and rear wheels is 7mm longer, this is because the rear axle has been moved further back to cope with the battery pack. 

Otherwise internally there has been no compromise on space in the Vauxhall Corsa-e. It is exactly the same as what you will find in the conventional counterparts.
