The Volkswagen ID.3 is a modern reinvention of the Polo but with an electric battery instead of an engine and all the other thousands of moving parts that you don’t need anymore.
The car is incredibly spacious, especially in the rear seats, so would be great for a small family car. The handling and driving experience is fantastic and the car is really good fun to take out on the road.
A respectable top speed of 99mph and an acceleration of 0-60 in 8.2 seconds makes this vehicle a superb performer. Of course, it’s not the same speed and acceleration of a Tesla, but why would you need that on such a great family vehicle. No one used to say “my Polo should go as fast as a ferrari testarossa”.
