In January 2023 the Mayor of London announced a new ULEZ scrappage scheme with £110m of investment. This scheme is aimed at sole traders, micro businesses with up to 10 employees and charities.

In order to qualify for the scrappage scheme you must have a van that does not meet the ULEZ (Ultra Low Emissions Zone) criteria, meaning that you will have to pay the charge for entering into the ULEZ areas.

Petrol vans registered before January 2006 and diesel vans bought before September 2016 may not meet the ULEZ requirements and will be subject to the charges. However, by scrapping your van and hiring an electric van from EVision for a minimum of two years you may be able to obtain a grant for £7,500.
