EVision Electric Vehicles – Reviewing the First Six Months

A calendar page

With the blink of an eye the first six months of 2023 have disappeared. We have had a lot going on in the first half of the year and have written many blogs about electric vehicles we have, electric vehicles were due and, of course, events that we have attended.

January and February Electric Vehicles News

We kicked the year off with an article about the electric vehicles coming in 2023. This will be an interesting one to look back on as we see what was reported and whether things have gone the way we expected. I think this will be a good blog post for the end of the year.

The first of the electric vehicles featured in 2023 was the Ford E-Transit. We looked in depth at the van and also at some of the other vans on the EVision fleet, such as the Vauxhall Vivaro-e. Both vans are available to hire now by the way.

February was a month of celebrating our fantastic cars, vans and pickup trucks. The evolution of BMW, the Tesla range, the Jaguar I-Pace and the Maxus T90 are just a few of the subjects we covered. All such great vehicles and a pleasure to write about.

March and April

March was a pretty special month, and not just for electric vehicles. We celebrated just some of the amazing women in the EV world on International Women’s Day which was an absolute joy to research and write. So many fantastic ladies are really driving the industry forward.

The big arrival of the third month was the unbelievable Rivian R1T truck. There was a big launch event that took place at Diggerland in Kent to show off our new American wonder truck which was attended by a huge crowd. People had great fun look around the truck, and also seeing it being launched at top speed. This was such a fun event to host and it was a pleasure to meet and talk to so many of you EV enthusiasts!

April saw the annual celebration of everything environmentally friendly as Earth Day came around once again. We discussed just some of the great reasons why we support this event and how hiring electric vehicles can help the planet.

May and June

To kick things off in May we talked about the best holiday car rental choices and what you need to take into consideration. We hope that this was helpful to some of you who have taken to the roads this holiday season.

Of course, the BIG event of May was the Fully Charged Show Live. For the first time ever there was a Fully Charged Live North. EVision was happily in attendance at both of these events and we had an absolute blast! It was wonderful to show off our amazing vehicles and to meet so many people who were as passionate about EVs and green energy as we are. The team who attended the North event were really impressed by how popular the inaugural event was. We believe it will only get bigger!

In June we released a fun blog post about electric vehicles and the film industry. This time, however, the focus was on the electric vehicles used behind the scenes more than the electric vehicles we see in front of the camera. The film industry is getting bigger and they are also getting more environmentally conscious. Electric Vans as well as electric cars are playing a big part in this.

In Conclusion

The first six months of 2023 seem like a bit of a blur now looking back at it. We at EVision Electric Vehicles continue to sing the praises of all electric vehicles as well as try to spread a positive message about the electric vehicles revolution.

There has been a lot to celebrate in the first half of the year. We cannot wait to see what the next six months brings us. Of course, when we have any big news in the EV world, we will pass that onto you. Keep a close eye on our social media channels.
