Supporting all types of business is an important part of the EVision ethos. For a start, there are several different models of vans in various sizes. Everything from the Renault Kangoo and the Combo-e to the Vivaro-e and the Maxus eDeliver 9. We also supply a lot of businesses with electric fleet cars.

However, we do help in other ways too. For example, did you know that we can have any of our vehicles wrapped for your business? We can also fit cars and vans to comply with business regulations. An example of how we have done this already is with a number of Kia EV6 cars which we have wrapped and fitted with warning lights in order to comply with Chapter 8 Regulations.

Here I will go through some of the features of the Kia EV Highways vehicle to show you just how amazing the car is and how it can benefit your business.

Kia EV6 Highways Vehicle – It’s The Business

At EVision we have a history of wrapping electric vehicles for either ourselves or for customers upon request. So, when contacted by a large national company to supply electric cars to be used as Highways vehicles, we were happy to take this on without any qualms.

The first question was what type of vehicle would be best suited to the needs of that business. After going over a shortlist of electric cars that our experts had picked out and gone through with the company, it was decided that the perfect vehicle for them would be the Kia EV6 GT Line S. I agree. This car is an excellent choice for many reasons.

The next stage was to make sure that the cars met all the legal requirements for a Highways vehicle. This meant that they all had to be compliant with the Chapter 8 Regulations. All of the vehicles were wrapped with the relevant Highways markings. We then had the orange warning lights fitted to the roofs of the vehicles. They were then good to go.

What Makes the Kia EV6 GT Line S Good For Business?

The Kia EV6 is a very popular car. It should be. This is the vehicle that won so many awards when it came out, including the highly coveted WhatCar? Car of the Year Award in 2022. So what makes it special?

The Kia EV6 is a large SUV style vehicle that has a really stunning and noticeable body shape. It will make an impression on clients and it will set itself apart from other vehicles on the road. There is clear aerodynamic shaping which really helps performance as well. Kit this car out with Chapter 8 Regulation markings, or any other wrapping for that matter, and you will really be noticeable.

When you get inside the Kia EV6 you will really notice how much room is available. Both the cabin and the boot have copious amounts of space for passengers and equipment. This is particularly important for the company who took these cars as Highways vehicles. They needed plenty of room for tools and a comfortable space for passengers. There are a lot of highways in the UK, and sometimes you have to drive a long way to get to your site.

Tech and More

It isn’t just what’s happening on the outside of the vehicle that may be helpful to a business. The tech in a car such as the Kia EV6 can help make a huge difference to your working day.

On the dashboard you will see a couple of really impressive looking infotainment screens. The main infotainment screen in the centre is incredibly easy to navigate through. It is highly responsive and it comes packed with plenty of features, including a great satellite navigation system to help you get where you need to be.

Safety is very highly rated on the Kia EV6. This is particularly important when working on a dangerous construction site, for example. The rear cameras are crystal clear to help when reversing. There is a superb 360 degree camera that is useful for getting into even the tightest of spots. You also get warning sensors situated around the car for that extra bit of security.

The safety features don’t end there either. The screen behind the steering wheel also has a pretty cool feature on the Kia EV6 GT Line S. When you indicate, you will see images from the blind spot cameras appear on the screen. This is just another really nice touch. You also have the option of a heads up display so you don’t have to take your eyes off the road.

Kia EV6 GT Line S – Performing for Business

The Kia EV6 GT Line S electric cars we have at EVision are all the 4WD versions. This means that you get at least 255 miles of real world range, although this should be over 300 miles with normal driving conditions.

The maximum speed of this car is a very respectable 116mph, which is more than enough for British roads. You can achieve a 0-60mph time in a blistering 5.2 seconds from a standing start. This is unbelievable for a family-sized SUV.
