Electric vehicles have definitely been a slow burner, but it’s safe to say that they are well and truly here, and they are fantastic. With manufacturers such as BMW, Kia, Audi, and Jaguar now on board, the variety is inspiring!

KIA E-NIRO
The brilliant Kia e-Niro is by far one of the most popular EVs on the market, and has definitely set the bar when it comes to usability, mile range and user experience. Although the Kia e-Niro sits on the more affordable spectrum in terms of the price, you are definitely getting your money’s worth.
You can benefit from a range of 250 miles on a full charge, which given a few years ago, the expectation of this range would have cost you a lot more.
The five seater is also one of the biggest electric vehicles of this kind, at this price. Making it a real competitor, and ideal for a family car. The retractable load cover also gives you the benefit of making use of the vehicle’s full height for your luggage. Perfect for those longer journeys!
The Kia e-Niro offers a high tech multimedia entertainment system, whilst at the same time providing outstanding and stylish looks both outside, and inside.
RENAULT ZOE
Last but definitely not least, the Renault ZOE.
At EVision, we have two models on offer for you to hire. The first being the Renault ZOE E Dynamique EVR 90 which provides a range of 160 miles. Although the Fiesta-sized electric vehicle doesn’t have as much range as the other cars mentioned, it’s still very impressive.
The ZOE has been around for almost a decade, but newer vehicles gave the ZOE a better overall performance and is a pure joy to drive.
The Renault ZOE is brilliant value for money. Affordable, but yet features excellent technology and stylish appearance.
We also offer the Renault ZOE i Play R110 which can range 210 miles, which is ideal for longer journeys with the family.
VOLKSWAGEN ID.3
The ID.3 is another new, but very relevant electric car that was introduced to us in late 2020.
You might like to compare it to the world renown Golf, in terms of its size. Although slightly smaller than the previously mentioned e-Niro, it’s still very much an ideal family car.
At EVision, we proudly offer the most affordable ID.3 currently available. However there are three batteries for you to choose from, which differ in price. For perspective, the cheaper ID.3 competes with electric vehicles like Renault Zoe and Nissan Leaf, whereas the higher end ID.3s rivals the likes of Tesla.
Similarly to the Kia e-Niro, the ID.3 offers a range of 250 miles and can reach a speed of 0-60mph in just 7.9 seconds.
NISSAN LEAF
Being one of the first properly recognised electric vehicles on the market, the Nissan Leaf is a true contender for the best family car.
Although the Leaf has been around for almost a decade (similarly to the ZOE), newer models have upgraded to provide more range, but is still one of the most affordable electric vehicles available.
